General Programs

Sunday Worship
Our 10:00 a.m. Sunday service follows the traditional pattern of word and worship. Music is provided by the Senior Choir, Junior Choir, or the Hand Bell Choir. Communion is served monthly, usually on the first Sunday of the month.

Sunday School
We provide a program for children from an infant's crib room through grade eight, with two volunteer teachers per class. Our classes participate in a variety of service and fun activities in addition to exploring biblical stories in depth.

Junior and Senior High Youth Groups
Our youth groups provide a mixture of fun, fellowship, spiritual growth, and service. Our groups are open to all the youth of the community. A Leadership Team of youth help plan Senior High activities, along with Anne Webster and Pastor Rich Knight. Our summer youth mission trip is always one of the highlights of the year. It’s open to students grades 8 – 12.

Confirmation Class
We provide an experience for ninth graders and above that helps them feel at home in the church and prepares them to be active participants. We strive to help them learn the basics of the Christian faith as well as develope their spiritual lives and their relationship with God.

Bible Studies
An ongoing Bible Study group meets every Wednesday morning. Our pastor, Dr. Rich Knight, leads Bible Studies and book clubs throughout the year as well.

Book Group
This group meets for fellowship and to discuss books of common interest. Past discussions have focussed on The Secret Life of Bees, The Red Tent and The DaVinci Code.

Men's Coffee Group
This group meets at Panera Bread on Wednesday mornings at 6:30 am for fellowship and wide-ranging conversation.

Outreach Programs
Through our Board of Christian Mission and Outreach we participate in various service projects, including the Cor Unum Community Meal, the Bread & Roses Meal Center, collecting food and clothing to be distributed in the greater Lawrence community, supporting local Habitat for Humanity projects, The Heiffer Project, and more.

Trinitarian Neighborhood Theater

Looking for a fun way to spend time in January, February, and March and use your acting and musical talents with a really great group of people? Then TNT’s musicals are for you! Past performances have included "L'l Abner," "Oliver," "The Wizard of Oz,"  "Fiddler on the Roof" and “Wily Wonka.”

Harvest Fair
Our annual fair held in late October is a fund-raiser but so much more! It's also an opportunity to work and fellowship together as a church family.

Century Preschool
A non-profit preschool that is part of our ministry to the community, this program offers a wonderful school opportunity for children from age 2 years 9 months up to pre-kindergarten.
